Boreal IM is a pan-European private real estate investment manager specialising in the industrial sector. The company was founded in 2022 by its partners Louis-Simon Ferland (CEO and founder), Peter Bingel, Nikos Koulouras, and James Farmer, who bring an average of 20 years of industry experience. On behalf of global institutional investors, the partners have invested over €13bn across 150 transactions and 510 assets in 20 European countries.
Boreal takes a data-driven approach, analysing macroeconomic trends to identify investment opportunities across Europe, targeting properties across the risk spectrum - from standing assets to ground-up developments – in locations with favourable demand-supply dynamics.
Headquartered in London with staff in France and the Netherlands, Boreal has a multi-disciplinary team of 24 highly motivated professionals from 16 nationalities with deep experience, market knowledge, and established networks in European real estate. Boreal harnesses the team's extensive track record, sector and geographic focus, and strong fiduciary culture to create long-term value.

Together we rise
At Boreal we take both our work and play seriously. Our London headquarters is in a bright office in the heart of Soho where we are busy building up an exceptional portfolio.
It’s also where we have monthly Cocktail Fridays, regular birthday celebrations, and everyone is invited to showcase treats and traditions from the 16 nationalities we have represented. Our teammates in Paris and the Netherlands work from home and shared workspaces but visit London regularly.
Amidst the meetings, Powerpointing and deadlines, we make a point of laughing and fostering a welcoming and enjoyable workplace.
